“It is our hope that by addressing the reasons for pet overpopulation and abandonment, we can begin to alleviate the problem through spay/neuter campaigns and funds designated to medically treat and find homes for homeless, injured pets.”
Our successful low-cost spay/neuter program has drastically reduced overpopulation in our area. Learn how you can implement a campaign in your area
Help spread our message! “No more unwanted pets in Simi Valley.” One of the most effective ways to communicate our service to spay/neuter pets at a low cost is to “walk flyers” placing them at the front door of each home. We are looking for volunteers – even if you only have a couple of hours to help our cause. Please call us at (805) 584-3823 for more information!
Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) begins with the trapping of feral cats using humane cage traps. This is method being promoted as a humane alternative to euthanasia for managing and reducing feral cat populations. If you have feral cats in your neighborhood, please contact us for assistance or to borrow traps.
LOVE YOUR PET DINNER
Please join us for our annual salute to our beloved pets on Sunday, June 7, 2015 at Sunset Hills Country Club in Thousand Oaks for the 12th Annual Love Your Pet Dinner.
Not only is this a salute to our pets, it is a step in our continuing efforts to keep Ventura County a No-Kill County.
The evening will begin with a cocktail hour featuring fabulous appetizers, and your first drink is on us! Enjoy live music on the patio and peruse our auction tables for fun items and unique experiences for yourself, or find that perfect gift for someone else. A delicious dinner buffet follows with wine served. Join us for a lovely summer evening to support a worthy cause.
You helped us make Ventura County No-Kill in 2014. Please join us to celebrate this milestone and support our future work.
